MAIER - 69999 - Heat Tile
Exhaust heat can warp or discolor plastic side panels and air scoops mounted close to the pipe, and Maier's Heat Tile solves that with adhesive-backed strips of aluminized fiberglass rated to handle 400°F of constant heat or 500°F intermittent. The standard kit includes two 6" x 2" strips, sized for spot-protecting the areas that see the most direct heat. A cheap insurance policy against melted plastic near the exhaust. Sold individually, the standard kit is sized for smaller, targeted hot spots rather than covering a large panel area.
