Complete Audio Kits
About Complete Audio Kits
A complete audio kit packages matched sound parts for one machine, so you are not working out sizes, power and mounting on your own. Owners of a UTV with no factory stereo or a weak one choose a kit for the simplest route to a full system.
Most kits here are named by the machine, with titles such as Audio Shade and Audio Mini kits for the Honda Talon, Kawasaki Teryx, Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick and Commander, Yamaha Wolverine RMAX and others, and the Audio Shade titles include RGB. There is also a radio dash kit for Polaris General models with Ride Command. What a kit contains differs, so read the listing for the number of speakers, whether a subwoofer or amplifier is included and what mounting parts are needed. Check the machine, the model year and the cab layout, since two-seat and four-seat versions of a machine can differ. Pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page.
Brands here include MB Quart and Hoppe Industries. To expand a system later, see Speakers and Amplifiers. A receiver can come from Infotainment & Multimedia Players, and wiring is in Wiring Harnesses, Cables & Connectors. The whole group is Audio, Communication & Navigation.
FAQs on complete audio kits
What comes in a complete audio kit for a UTV?
Contents vary by kit. Many include speakers and mounting parts, and some add a subwoofer or amplifier. Some do not include a source such as a receiver. The listing describes what is in the box, so read it before ordering.
How do I know a kit will fit my UTV?
Kit titles name the machine and often a year range, so match both. Pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page. Also check the cab, since two-seat and crew versions of the same model can have different roll cage layouts.
Do I need a separate stereo with an audio kit?
It depends on the kit. Some kits may not include a source such as a receiver or Bluetooth controller to feed the speakers. A radio dash kit, for example, is listed for Polaris General models with Ride Command. The listing tells you what a kit connects to.
Can I add more speakers to a kit later?
Only as far as the amplifier allows. Each speaker needs amplifier channels and power, so check how many channels the amplifier has and its power rating before adding to it. Adding a mismatched speaker can leave it quiet or overdriven.
