About Seats, Parts & Accessories
Seats take more abuse than most parts on a quad or side-by-side: foam packs down, vinyl splits and mounting hardware works loose. Riders shop this group to restore a worn seat, to move to a more supportive one, or to add comfort and restraint items such as a heater, armrests or a harness.
The four sub-categories divide the job. Seats are complete replacement seats, including performance seats made for models such as the Can-Am Maverick X3. Seat Covers suit a seat whose base is sound but whose surface is worn, with grip covers for sport quads and bench or bucket covers for utility machines. Additional Seat Parts holds the pieces around the seat, such as foam, latch pin kits, mounting kits and armrests. Seat Belts, Harnesses & Parts has four- and five-point harnesses.
Seat parts are cut for particular models and years, so pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page before you order. Brands in this group include Drag Specialties, Saddlemen, Quad Logic, Classic Accessories and Moose Offroad. The group is part of UTV | ATV. The guide on why a part did not fit lists the checks that prevent a wrong order.
FAQs on UTV and ATV seats
Should I replace the foam, the cover or the whole seat?
Look at what actually failed. If the foam is flat but the base is sound, new foam restores the shape. If the vinyl is torn or faded and the foam is good, a cover is enough. If the base is cracked, or you want a different seat style, replace the seat.
Do seat covers and foam fit every ATV?
No. Covers and foam are cut to the shape of a particular seat, so listings name the machine and often the years, such as a Yamaha YFZ or a Honda TRX450. Match the make, model and year in the listing to your quad before you order.
What can I add to a side-by-side seat for comfort?
The samples include UTV seat heaters, adjustable armrests for Can-Am Maverick and Polaris RZR XP models, and armrest pouches. Each lists the machine it fits. A heater needs a connection to the machine's electrical system, so read the installation notes first.
Can I fit a seat made for another UTV model?
Use the seat listed for your model. A seat built for a different machine may not line up with your mounts, and some seats need a separate mounting kit. Match the make, model and years in the listing, and use the Ride Finder to narrow the list.
What can cause a UTV seat to rattle or lift?
Worn latch pins or loose mounting hardware are common causes on machines with removable seats. Latch pin kits are listed for Polaris models in this group. Inspect the seat base and latch before you assume the seat itself is at fault.
