The S&S CYCLE 106-5859 is a camshaft kit - easy start - 583 gear drive - big twin '99-'06 (except '06 dyna) engineered for street applications where fit, function, and build quality are the baseline expectation. Allows for easy start by initially reducing crank compression, but once the engine starts and rpm increases, the compression release lobe is centrifugally retracted and the engine runs normally, with full compression, and without any loss in performance. Optimiized for use as a great overall camshaft for Softail and Dyna, but can be used in any Big Twin, giving you a level of quality that holds up across the full service life of the component. Provides strong low-end torque and horsepower. Strongest from 1500 rpm to 5000 rpm in Softail and Dyna models. Includes camshafts, gearcover gasket, bearings, retaining ring, o-ring, threat lock and instructions. The 106-5859 delivers exactly what riders need from a quality aftermarket component.
