About Other Motorcycle

This section holds motorcycle items that do not fit under the main parts groups, so the contents are mixed. Listings include small mechanical parts such as throttle tubes, cable fittings and a universal joint, guards, specialty tools and accessory lights.

Because the section is varied, the best way to find the right item is to search by part name or number and to check the make, model and years in each listing. Pick your bike in the Ride Finder at the top of the page to filter for parts made for it.

For small parts, compare the size and type with your old part: a throttle tube needs to match the handlebar and throttle housing, and a cable fitting needs to match the cable end and the carburetor or housing. For tools, check the size, the fastener or bearing it is made for and whether it is for one make, since some tools, such as a bearing remover or a bit, are made for a single brand of bike.

Brands listed here include COMET, BOLT, ZERO GRAVITY, Drag Specialties and WSM. If the part you need belongs to a specific system, start in the main groups, such as Body & Frame, Engines & Engine Parts, Electrical & Ignition Components and Handlebars, Grips & Controls, all part of Motorcycle.

FAQs on other motorcycle parts

Why is my part not in the usual categories?

Some parts do not fit neatly under one group and are placed here. Search by the part name or number, and also check the main groups for your system, such as engine, body or electrical. Compare the listing to your old part if you are unsure.

How do I confirm that a small part is the right one?

Compare the part number from your manual or the old part, then check the measurements, the make, model and years. Small parts such as fittings and joints often look alike but differ in size, thread or shape.

Are specialty tools made for one motorcycle only?

Many are. Tools such as bearing removers, holding tools and bits are made for a particular size, fastener or make. Read the listing to see what the tool is made for, and compare it with the part you plan to service.

What should I check when buying a throttle tube or cable fitting?

Match the throttle tube to your handlebar diameter and throttle housing, and the cable fitting to the end of your cable and to the carburetor or housing it connects to. The listing names the model when a part is not universal.

Does universal mean a part fits every motorcycle?

No. Universal means it is not made for a single model, but size, thread and mounting still have to match your bike. Check the measurements in the listing against your machine before you order.
