The Michelin Road 6 is Michelin's latest sport-touring tire, and in this 150/60ZR17 sizing it's built for lighter mid-size bikes that still want serious wet-weather capability. Michelin's internal testing found the Road 6 delivers 15% more wet grip than the outgoing Road 5, credited to 100% Michelin Silica Technology tread compounds and a new tread pattern using Water Evergrip Technology, plus 10% longer tread life in external wear testing. The 2CT+ front-tire technology — previously reserved for the rear — now improves front-end rigidity at lean, meaning more composed cornering under hard acceleration or braking, not just a marketing footnote.
