Because that electrode can be shrunk down to just 0.4mm, voltage requirements drop while firing performance improves. A 360-degree laser weld seals the electrode against wear even in tough conditions, and the ground electrode's tapered cut and U-groove design forms a larger flame center for more complete combustion.
