BILTWELL

Biltwell Helmets, Grips and Custom Parts

Biltwell is a name riders usually know from one of two places: the open-face and full-face helmets, or the bolt-on parts that change how a custom bike feels in the hands and feet. We list about 440 Biltwell products, with helmets and helmet parts on one side and bike parts on the other. The helmets sit in Motorcycle & Powersport Helmets, and the bike parts mostly live in Handlebars, Grips & Controls.

Lowbrow Customs says in its profile of the company that Biltwell began in 2006 as strictly a hard parts company, which fits a catalog that still has plenty of grips, risers, bars and pegs next to the helmets.

Helmets and helmet parts

Gringo family. The biggest group, with around 75 listings. It covers the Gringo, Gringo S and Gringo SV, for example the Gringo Helmet in flat black, the Gringo S Helmet in Spectrum gloss desert and the Gringo SV Helmet in gloss black.

Bonanza and Lane Splitter. The Bonanza Helmet in Spectrum desert is the open-face choice, and the Lane Splitter Helmet in gloss black is a separate full-face line.

Shields, pads and liners. Parts are sold per model: the Gringo S/SV shield with Pinlock ProtecTINT included, Gringo cheek pads and the Lane Splitter liner. Check the helmet name in the title before ordering, because Gringo, Gringo S and Gringo SV parts are not all interchangeable.

Grips, bars and controls

Grips. About 55 listings in 7/8" and 1" sizes, including Kung Fu grips, Torker grips, Renegade grips, Recoil grips and Alumicore grips.

Handlebars and risers. Bars come in 7/8" and 1", such as the 1" T-Bar and the 7/8" Handlebar. Browse the handlebars category and risers and clamps for the Murdock risers in 6" and taller pullback versions. The Whiskey throttle assembly is sold for 7/8" bars, and a 1" version exists too.

Gloves, goggles and the rest

Gloves include the Moto gloves, Borrego and Work 2.0. In eyewear there are Overland 2.0 goggles. The catalog also has Mushman foot pegs, round and teardrop mirrors, EXFIL sissy bars and the EXFIL-18 saddlebags.

Biltwell questions

Which bar size do I need for grips? Match the grip to the bar diameter shown in the title, 7/8" or 1". Throttle assemblies follow the same sizing.

Do helmet shields swap between models? Not across the board. Shield titles name the helmets they fit, such as Gringo S/Gringo SV.

Are the helmets DOT or ECE? Check the specs on each listing, since we can only confirm what a title or description states; some cheek pads, for example, are labeled ECE. Our helmet standards guide explains the labels.
