Biltwell's ProtecTINT™ shield for the Gringo S and Gringo SV is a genuinely different kind of replacement part: the Pinlock® lens is light-sensitive, shifting to smoke tint within seconds in sunlight to cut glare, then fading back to clear at night or in low light — a single shield doing the job of two. Pinlock's Dry Hydrophilic tech keeps it virtually fog-free in wet, humid conditions, and it comes pre-installed on a scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate shield with Biltwell's Gen 2 hinge hardware included for an easy swap. Note it won't fit older ECE R22.05 Gringo S helmets with the pre-update closure.
