Body & Frame

About Body & Frame

Body and frame parts form the shell and structure of a UTV or ATV: the panels, fenders, doors, bumpers, brackets and bars that hold the machine together and protect the rider and the mechanical parts. Owners shop here after a rollover or a hit on the trail, when plastic has faded or cracked, or when they want to add protection or places to mount gear.

The sub-categories divide the job by area. Body Parts, Doors & Fenders is the largest group, with panels, roofs, doors, hoods and fenders. Bumpers & Parts is for bumpers and related parts. Grab Bars & Handles and Running Boards & Step Bars help with holding on and getting in. Mounts, Brackets & Hardware holds accessories such as GPS units and whips, and the smaller groups are Dashboards, Consoles & Parts and License Plates, Frames & Holders. Body panels and frame parts are model and year specific, so pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page.

Brands here include Hornet, Bolt, DEI, Helix and Spike. For parts that do not fit the groups above, see Other Body & Frame. To double-check fit before ordering, read why a part did not fit. The whole range is UTV | ATV.

FAQs on UTV and ATV body and frame parts

How do I find body parts that fit my UTV or ATV?

Body parts change with model and year, so start with your machine's make, model and year. Pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page, then compare the year range in each title. Also check the color and whether a panel is front or rear.

Should I repair or replace a bent or cracked frame part?

Frame tubes and mounting points carry load, so a bend or crack deserves a careful inspection before the next ride. Welding structural parts is skilled work, and the safe course is to have a qualified shop assess it and to follow the manufacturer's guidance.

How do I keep plastic body panels from fading and cracking?

Wash plastic with mild soap and water, avoid harsh solvents, and store the machine out of direct sun or under a cover. A UV protectant made for plastic helps slow fading. Replace panels that have cracked at the mounting tabs, since they will not hold.

Do I need new fasteners when replacing body panels?

Often, yes. Plastic clips, push pins and screws that have been removed once may be brittle or worn and may not hold the new panel. Check the listing to see what is included, and see Mounts, Brackets & Hardware for hardware.
