Key features: This SLP Single Pipe Set reduces weight by 5.5 lbs and delivers an additional 7.6 horsepower peak with good midrange gains, which equates to crisp, clean, throttle response and quicker acceleration with more top-end speed on the trail; In the deep snow this added horsepower and weight loss gets you up on the snow quicker and allows you to climb higher and boondock better; A lot of time and effort has gone into developing this ceramic coated pipe for optimum horsepower, running consistency, and reliability. SLP found that it was necessary to add a small heat shield to the pipe that is about half the size of the stock heat shield. This heat shield was needed to bring the pipe temperature up quickly for maximum running consistency.
