Motor Trike Conversion Kits, Reverse Kits and Tri Glide Accessories

Motor Trike is a small catalog built around one idea, turning a two-wheeled bike into a three-wheeler, and 44 of its 67 listings are complete trike conversion kits. The rest are the add-ons that go with them: reverse kits, raked triple trees, running boards, fog lights, hitches and harnesses. Most listings sit in Other Suspension & Handling, and the kits are named for a bike family and a model line before the years.

NAC's Delivering Performance magazine reported in 2015 that Motor Trike was founded in 1994 by Jeff and Diane Vey in a small shop in Troup, Texas, and that it makes trike conversion kits for several brands along with trailers and accessories.

Conversion kits by bike

Harley-Davidson Softail and Touring. The largest group. The Spartan line has about 15 kits written by model and year range, such as the Spartan kit for '00-'06 FLSTC, the Spartan kit for '11-'17 FLSTN and the Spartan kit for '08-'10 FLSTF. Seven Gladiator kits cover FL models by year, among them the Gladiator for '17-'23 FL and the Gladiator for '02-'03 FL.

Sportster and other models. The GTX Sportster IRS kit for '07-'13 XL is one of three GTX listings. The catalog also has three Tomahawk kits, plus the Challenger, Avenger, Galaxy and Phoenix kits.

Gold Wing, Triumph and scooters. The Honda Gold Wing has Adventure and Razor kits, for example the Adventure kit for '12-'17 and the Razor kit for '06-'10. The Triumph Rocket III IRS kit, Touring has a Roadster twin, and there is a Thunderbird LT kit. Scooter owners can look at the Burgman 650 kit for '09-'18 and the Silverwing kit for '01-'15.

Reverse kits, triple trees and trailer parts

Six Mechanical Reverse Kits with an electrical cut-off switch are listed in Gearbox & Transmission Parts, split by clutch type, such as the standard clutch version and the hydraulic clutch version. Five 6-inch raked triple tree listings are filed in Triple Trees, including the Raked Triple Tree and an adapter for FLHR models.

For Tri Glide owners there are trailer hitches, trailer harnesses, a Trax running board kit, LED running board fog lights in Fog Light Assemblies, and a rear fender bra.

Read the model line and the year range in the title, because kits are written per model family and generation, and a few titles carry no years at all. Accessories name the Tri Glide year range, so compare it to yours. Check the clutch type on a reverse kit before ordering.
