Weighing just 8 ounces, Motion Pro's Trail Task ADV Chain Tool is built for adventure touring and long-distance trail riding, breaking 520, 525, and most 530 chains and master links up to 20 mm wide. An included steel press plate removes and installs clip-style press-on master link plates, and a high-quality blue anodized finish over black oxide-coated drive components stands up to trail abuse. An innovative dovetail closure and hardened steel thread insert add strength without adding bulk, and the tool packs into its own cloth pouch (you'll need 12 mm and 14 mm wrenches, sold separately, to run it). It doesn't rivet master links -- for that job, Motion Pro's PBR chain tool (08-0470) is the pick.
