A hardened body, riveting tip, and breaker pin push pins completely through the link and side plate, and the tool will rivet hollow-nose master links (though not solid soft-nose pins). The removable handle lets it pack down small, making it a natural fit for a tool roll if your chain uses a rivet master link.
