Mikuni Carburetors, Jets and Rebuild Parts

Mikuni is mostly a carburetor-parts brand, so the quickest way in is to name the job: a whole carburetor, a jet to retune one, or a kit to rebuild one. We list about 685 Mikuni products, roughly 545 under Motorcycle, about 60 under UTV | ATV, 67 under Snowmobile and about 50 under Personal Watercraft. Mikuni's own history page says the company was founded in 1923 as Mikuni Shoten, began by importing automobiles, bicycles and their components, and opened its first production plant in 1936.

Complete carburetors

Series letters lead the titles. VM round slide carburetors run from the 18mm VM18-144 through the VM28-49 and VM34-275 to the VM44-3. Flat slide TM and TMX units include the TM34-2, the TM36-68 and the TM40-6. Super BN titles number about 55 across carburetors and parts, including the BN38-34-8113 and the BN46-42-8002. The two RS Series listings are multi-carb sets, like the RS34 4-cylinder set.

HSR kits for Harley-Davidson

About 45 titles use HSR, and around 15 name Harley-Davidson. The kits are sold by throat size and engine: the HSR 42 kit for '94-'03 XL, the HSR45 Easy Kit for '86-'06 models and the HSR Smoothbore Total Kit for '99-'06 Electra Glide. Jets and needles

This is the biggest group. About 235 titles are main jets and about 100 are pilot or low speed jets, mostly sold four to a pack, such as the #280 main jet 4-pack, the #130 main jet and the VM22 pilot jet 4-pack. Rebuild and repair parts

Rebuild kits cover specific families, such as the TM38 and TM40 kits, the HSR rebuild kit and the HSR 48 kit. Smaller pieces include float bowl gaskets, a replacement float, a Viton needle and seat and a throttle slide.
