METZELER - 4702800 - Roadtec™ 02 Tire
Sized for larger 19-inch front wheels, this Roadtec 02 in 120/70ZR19 (60V) brings Metzeler's reduced-groove sport-touring tread to bikes that don't run the more common 17-inch front. The lighter grooving cuts vibration and noise while smoothing the upright-to-lean transition, and full-silica compound keeps chemical grip on wet roads intact. It's built to adapt its behavior to how the bike is being ridden, offering stability when upright and more bite at full lean rather than one fixed personality.
Features
- Features less grooves which translates to less interruptions of the surface, bringing less vibrations, less noise and a more uniform transition from upright to leaning
- Provides efficient water evacuation and contact patch mobility, which brings comfort, warm-up and grip in the wet
- Riding pleasure, high-performance and safety in a wide range of temperatures and asphalt conditions
- Full silica compounds of both the fronts and rears improve the chemical adhesion to wet roads
- Features a tread pattern design that adapts to the riding style and modifies the tire behavior
- Pattern design increases the tread compactness and reactivity when riding faster
- Better stability when riding upright and more grip at full lean
- Ensures water evacuation and safety feeling when leaning
