METZELER - 4254200 - KAROO™ 4 Tire
This 120/70R19 front tire extends the KAROO 4 range to larger adventure bikes, carrying over the same redesigned tread that pushed off-road performance forward on soft ground like sand and mud while improving handling and wet-lean stability on the road. Bigger tread cutouts and alternating side knobs help the front end clean itself out in loose terrain rather than clogging up. Like the rest of the KAROO 4 line, it's built as a genuine 50/50 tire for adventure and dual-sport riders who actually leave the pavement, rated 60T for confident highway speeds getting there.
Features
- The new design is intended to increase the off-road performance level, especially on soft surfaces, such as sand, mud and clay. As for the road, the engineers have worked to improve in particular the overall handling and the behavior on wet, especially when leaned over on the tire’s edge
- The new tread design definitely has a more aggressive off-road look with bigger cutouts and alternating side-knobs that would appear to clean out better in soft terrain than the old KAROO™ 3
- Like its predecessor, the KAROO™ 4 is made for adventure and dual sport riders who want good off-road performance and longevity in a 50/50 tire
