METZELER - 4074600 - MCE 6 Days Extreme Tire - Super Soft Compound
The Metzeler MCE 6 Days Extreme in Super Soft Compound is built for wet, extreme, technical races where maximum adherence matters more than tread longevity, with an even softer rubber than the Soft version and a higher ratio of plasticizers to match. Its ideal working range starts just a few degrees above freezing, so it's purpose-built for cool, wet, technical passages, engineered for the duration needed to get through a single day's racing. Wide knob spacing keeps it self-cleaning from mud and dirt. This size, 90/100-21, is built for the front.
Features
- Features high-resistance carcass materials with remarkable dampening characteristics and high-performance carbon black fillers in the tread compound, capable of providing both thermal and mechanical resistance
- The ideal working range starts a few degrees above 0°C (cooler operating conditions will result in poor performance)
- Features an even softer rubber with maximum adherence even on the toughest and wet technical passages
- Lateral knobs: cornering stability, lateral support, optimized cornering-out acceleration
- Delivers remarkable performance with duration compatible with 1-day racing events
- Wide spacing between knobs: self-cleaning from mud and dirt, effective braking
- Dedicated to wet and extreme races where superior power traction is required
- Tread polymer with a higher ratio of plasticizers than the SOFT version
- Alternate knob geometry: extreme traction and optimized directionality
- Features 3 x lime lines on tread
- The prolonged employment at high speed on road at any temperature is unadvised.
