Metzeler developed the Roadtec 01 as the successor to the Roadtec Z8 Interact, chasing more mileage and better wet-road grip in one package. A revised land/sea ratio and updated tread design push wear resistance up over the tire's life, while radially positioned grooves boost wet grip on low-friction surfaces like city streets, worn asphalt, and cooler temperatures. Sized 90/90-18 for rear mounting. Sidewall is blackwall. Load/speed index: 51P.
