This 190/55ZR17 Roadtec 01 HWM rear carries Metzeler's rebalanced tire stiffness, engineered to help the rubber adhere better to the tarmac's micro-texture and improve mechanical grip even on lower-friction surfaces. The tire's footprint is also reshaped — larger and shorter than the outgoing Z8 Interact — which Metzeler credits with both the roughly 10% mileage gain and improved handling. Built specifically in the HWM, or Heavy Weight Motorcycle, specification, it's aimed at big touring and sport touring bikes whose mass makes tire stability especially important.
