The braid's color and weave are matched to other Magnum control cables and lines, and PTFE tubing reinforced with aramid fiber under a crystal-clear PVC jacket keeps line expansion down while resisting discoloration. It's designed to pair with a Designer Series lower brake line kit, sold separately.

- Motorcycles equipped with ABS (anti-lock brake system) require ABS specific brake line kits, and failure to do so may result in compromised anti-lock braking ability; Magnum Shielding upper brake line kits manufactured specifically for these applications are identified with the letters "ABS" printed directly on the brake hose.
