The all-black version of Kodlin's M8 Softail engine guards includes an oil cooler cover and black crash pads, protecting the front of the engine from impact damage while keeping the finish consistent on a blacked-out build. Sold separately from the matching rear guards, so builders can add protection incrementally. It's the kind of part that only proves its worth the day the bike goes down — and by then, it's already done its job.
