Khrome Werks Exhaust, Ape Hangers and Grips for Harley-Davidson

Khrome Werks is a Harley-Davidson catalog with two big halves: exhaust and handlebars. We list about 290 Khrome Werks products, with roughly 140 in Exhaust & Emission Systems and about 95 in Handlebars, then grips, air cleaners and a few touring accessories. Nearly every title ends with a model list and year range, so start from your bike.

Exhaust, by name

Slip-on mufflers. About 78 listings in Silencers, Mufflers & Baffles. The HP-Plus line is the largest, with about 30 titles, such as the 4-1/2" HP-Plus Slip-On Mufflers in Chrome Edge and the Eclipse version with a Tracer tip. The 3-1/2" Softail Shredder slip-ons in black are a separate line. Replacement HP-Plus baffles are sold on their own, and tip names such as Edge, Klassic and Tracer appear in the title, as with the Black with Klassic tip.

Full systems. About 33 in Exhaust System Kits. The Dominator is a 2-into-2 for FL models, like the Dominator with 4-1/2" mufflers in black, and the Outlaw is a 2-into-1, such as the Outlaw in chrome and the Outlaw-SR for '17-'26 models.

Headers. A handful in Manifolds & Headers: the Aggressor 2-into-1-into-2 in chrome and the Hideaway Header for '21-'24 Indian.

Handlebars and grips

Ape hangers. Close to 50 titles carry the name, in 1" and 1-1/4" tubing: the 1" Ape Hanger, the 1-1/4" Fat Ape Hanger for '96-'22 Dyna and the 1-1/4" Bobber Ape Hanger.

Touring bars. The Buck-25 and Buck-50 bars are listed for Electra Glide and Road Glide models. The 1" OEM Replacement Bend and the 1-1/4" Heritage bar cover other bends.

Grips. In Grips, Covers & Pads, the Edge, Tracer and Turbine styles come in Air Cushion or Custom Contour versions, in black or chrome. Examples are the Edge Custom Contour in chrome and the Turbine Air Cushion in black.

Air cleaners and touring extras

The Instigator air cleaner has about eight listings in Air Filters, such as the Instigator for '17-'24 models. Touring owners will also find the FLH receiver hitch and the FLHT trailer harness.

Matching a part to the bike

Read the model and years in the title, then the finish. Chrome, black and Eclipse versions of the same part are separate listings. Grips are written for either a cable throttle or TBW (throttle-by-wire), so check which your bike has before you order.

Do you list just the baffles or tips? Yes. HP-Plus baffles and Klassic tips each have their own listings.

Are the ape hangers for every Harley? No. Many titles name a model line, such as Dyna, Softail or FXRS, so match yours.

Is a slip-on the same as a full system? No. A slip-on replaces the mufflers only. Our slip-on vs. full exhaust guide explains the difference.
