This .005-over Hypereutectic Piston Kit from KB Performance is machined from T-5 heat-treated 390 alloy and diamond-cut to tight, piston-to-piston tolerances - within a gram of weight and half a thousandth of an inch - for '07-'16 Harley-Davidson engines being bored slightly oversize. The tighter fit reduces piston rock and improves ring seal versus looser-tolerance pistons, but KB's instructions on clearance and top ring end gap matter given the alloy's thermal properties. The kit includes two pistons, pins, spiral-lock clips, and Hastings moly rings; rings are also sold separately.

- Due to the thermal conductivity and design of KB pistons, special attention is required to the top ring end gap. Please read instructions furnished with piston for correct ring installation.
