Each disc is heat-treated and double-disc parallel ground so it runs flat from the box, which keeps braking consistent instead of pulsing at the lever. It also comes in noticeably lighter than the stock rotor, cutting unsprung weight, and its non-directional pattern means it works on either side of the bike. For the longest service life, Galfer recommends pairing it with Galfer brake pads.
