FMF RACING
FMF Racing Exhaust, Mufflers and Pipes
FMF is where a lot of dirt riders start when the stock muffler has to come off, and our catalog backs that up: about 1,100 FMF products, most of them in Exhaust & Emission Systems, with a smaller run of hats, shirts and goggle parts at the end. Titles name the model and years, so the quickest route is to find your bike and read from there.
According to an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame announcement carried by Ultimate Motorcycling, Don Emler Sr. started the company in 1973 as Flying Machine Factory, working out of his garage, and it now builds its products at a factory in Southern California.

Mufflers and silencers. The biggest group, with more than 420 listings in Silencers, Mufflers & Baffles. The Powercore line runs from the Powercore 2.1 Shorty Muffler to the Powercore 4 Muffler and the PowerCore 4 HEX Muffler. Turbinecore listings include the Turbinecore 2.1 Muffler, and the Q4 HEX Muffler is another of the muffler names here.
Factory 4.1 RCT. About 100 listings carry this name, in titanium, aluminum and anodized finishes, some with a carbon fiber end cap. They range from slip-on mufflers such as the Factory 4.1 RCT Slip-On Muffler for the 2026 Ducati Desmo450 to full systems like the Factory 4.1 RCT Exhaust System in titanium with a carbon end cap.
Headers and full systems. More than 140 listings in Manifolds & Headers, including the MegaBomb Header in stainless steel and the 4.1 exhaust with a Powerbomb header. Complete setups are grouped in Exhaust System Kits.
Fatty and Gnarly pipes. More than 170 listings between them in Exhaust Pipes & Tips, written for specific bikes, for example the Fatty Pipe for the 1987-2006 Banshee and the Gnarly Pipe. More are in UTV | ATV exhaust.
Small parts, apparel and eyewear. Spring and O-ring kits, flange kits, replacement decals and spark arrestor inserts, such as the 94dB Spark Arrestor Insert for the 4.1 RCT, are listed one at a time. The brand also has hats and headwear, T-shirts, and PowerBomb goggle lenses and tear-offs.
Matching an FMF part to your bike
Fitment runs through the title: Yamaha, Honda, KTM, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Husqvarna, Beta and Ducati all appear, with the model and year range after the part name. A few universal mufflers, such as the Universal Powercore 4 Spark Arrestor Muffler, do not name a bike, so check the mounting details in the listing. Mufflers, headers and pipes are listed as separate parts, so confirm which piece your bike needs.
FMF questions
What is the difference between a slip-on and a full system? A slip-on replaces the muffler only; a full system replaces more of the exhaust, including the header. Our slip-on vs. full exhaust guide goes through it.
Do you carry spark arrestor versions? Yes, about 35 listings mention a spark arrestor, including the Powercore 4 with Spark Arrestor.
Can I buy replacement packing or decals? The catalog lists spring and O-ring kits and exhaust decals separately; search by your muffler name.
