DP BRAKES
DP Brakes Pads, Brake Shoes and Clutch Kits
The code at the front of a DP Brakes title tells you most of what you need: DP for standard pads, SDP for sintered, RDP for racing, ODP for organic scooter pads, and DPK or DPHK for clutch kits. We list about 525 DP Brakes products, split between Motorcycle (about 380) and UTV | ATV (about 130), with a few in Snowmobile Brakes.
Brake pads
Motorcycle Brake Pads holds about 230 listings and UTV | ATV Brake Pads about 78. Roughly 160 titles say Standard and about 115 say Sintered. Standard examples are the DP965 for a Yamaha FJR, the DP701 for BMW and the DP525 for the Triumph Trophy 1215 SE. Sintered metal pads include the SDP536HH for Sportster, the SDP900HH for Harley-Davidson and the SDP509HH for BMW and Triumph.
Dirt and racing. Sixteen titles carry the Pro MX name, such as the SDP315 and the SDP937MX. About 18 RDP Racing listings cover street bikes, among them the RDP585 for BMW, the RDP964 for Kawasaki and the RDP976 for Yamaha.
Quads, side-by-sides, scooters and sleds. ATV pads include the DP982 for the Grizzly, the DP549 for the KingQuad, the DP561 for the Pioneer 1000, the DP572 for Can-Am and the sintered DP915 for Polaris. Four organic scooter pad listings, like the ODP015 for Aprilia, are on the list too. Twelve HH+ pads, such as the SDP850SNX, are filed under snowmobile brakes.
Brake shoes, rotors and pistons
About 60 listings are brake shoes, 29 in Motorcycle Brake Shoes and 30 in UTV | ATV Brake Shoes. They are numbered 9xxx, such as the 9121 for Honda, the 9131 for Yamaha, the 9157 for Suzuki and the 9149 for the TRX. In Brake Disc Rotors there are nine Harley-Davidson rotors, front and rear, including the DP1902F Touring front and the DP1905R rear. Caliper pistons come as three listings: Honda, Gas Gas/Husqvarna/KTM and Kawasaki/Suzuki/Yamaha.
Clutch kits and plates
About 120 clutch kits sit in Complete Clutches & Kits, and more in the UTV | ATV section. Dirt bike kits name the model: the YZ450F kit, the CRF450R kit and the RM-Z 250 kit. Street kits include the YZF-R6 kit and the GSX-R 1000 kit. For Harley-Davidson, the Heavy Duty M8 kit and the Big Twin kit sit beside Twin Cam clutch fibers and steel clutch plates for '98-'17 models.
Matching the part
Find your bike in the title, then compare the part number when a title names only a maker. Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki each appear on about 55 to 60 titles, with KTM, Harley-Davidson, BMW, Triumph and Polaris making up the rest. Rotors and some shoes name front or rear, so check that before ordering.
