6D's ATR mud kit is a foam accessory that installs across the top of ATR-1 and ATR-2 helmets to keep mud from building up on the shell during muddy off-road, ATV, and UTV riding. Beyond keeping the shell clean, it also helps keep goggles from being pushed down by an increasingly mud-heavy helmet, avoiding mid-ride distractions. It installs easily, molding around the helmet's curves and vents, and comes with strong adhesive that can be trimmed to fit; for new helmets, 6D recommends taping the shell first and adhering the foam to the tape rather than directly to the helmet.
