Other Body & Frame

About Other Body & Frame

This category holds body and frame parts that do not fit the other groups. The range is mixed: graphics kits, billet gas caps and breather caps, side panel kits, fender hooks, decals, fire extinguisher mounts, a fuel tank and aluminum mesh sheet all appear here.

Because the parts are so varied, read the title and the fitment line for each. Graphics kits are made for specific models, for example a complete kit for the Teryx and an EVO kit for the Honda TRX450R. Gas caps are matched to model and year, such as the Honda Sportrax and TRX400X. Fire extinguisher mounts are sized to the extinguisher, and the ones listed are for a 5 pound unit with a quick-release design. There is also a natural fuel tank for the Kawasaki and Suzuki LT-Z400 and KFX400, and a side panel quick release kit for the Polaris Scrambler. Pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page.

Brands here include Axia, Quad Logic, Factory Effex, Moose Offroad and D'Cor Visuals. See also Bumpers & Parts, Mounts, Brackets & Hardware and Body Parts, Doors & Fenders, all part of Body & Frame.

FAQs on other body and frame parts

What is a quick-release fire extinguisher mount?

It is a bracket that holds a fire extinguisher on the machine and lets you take it off quickly. Choose one sized for your extinguisher, such as the 5 pound mounts listed here, mount it solidly, and follow the extinguisher maker's instructions.

How do I apply a graphics kit?

Clean and dry the plastic first, and work in a clean, dry place at a moderate temperature. Line the graphic up before pressing it down, then smooth it from one edge to the other to push out air. Follow the instruction sheet that comes with the kit.

Will a billet gas cap fit any ATV?

No. Gas caps are matched to the model and year, because the neck size, threads and venting differ. Check the fitment in the listing, such as the Honda Sportrax or TRX400X, and use the Ride Finder.

Can I replace a fuel tank myself?

It is a doable job for an owner who is careful, but it involves fuel. Work outdoors away from sparks and flame, drain the tank first, and follow the service manual for hoses, clamps and mounting. Replace any worn fuel lines at the same time.

How do I find a part in such a mixed category?

Search by your machine in the Ride Finder, then read each title and fitment line. Parts here are often listed by brand and model, such as the Polaris Scrambler or Kawasaki Prairie, so match the year as well as the name.
