About Fenders

Fenders keep mud, rocks and water off the rider and the machine, and they are among the first plastic parts to crack on an ATV after a tip-over or a hit on the trail. Riders replace a broken fender, a faded one, or a front and rear pair that no longer match.

Most listings here are for a front fender or a rear fender of a particular ATV, with the model, year and color in the title, such as the Honda TRX300 and TRX450R. Because front and rear are usually sold separately, check which one you need. Colors include black, red, white and yellow, and a carbon fiber-look finish is also listed. Fender flares, listed here for Yamaha, extend the coverage to help keep mud off. Colors vary between makers and years, so a new fender may not match older faded plastic exactly. Pick your machine in the Ride Finder at the top of the page.

Brands here include Spike, Maier, Seizmik and Powermadd. For the rest of the body, see Hoods, Fairings, Plastics & Body Kits and Additional Panels & Parts. The parent group is Body Parts, Doors & Fenders.

FAQs on ATV fenders

Are front and rear ATV fenders sold separately?

Usually. Listings are labeled front fender or rear fender, so confirm which one you need, and use the model and year in the title to confirm the machine it fits. Buy the pair together if both are damaged.

Can I repair a cracked fender instead of replacing it?

A small crack that is not at a mounting point can often be repaired with a plastic repair method. If the fender has broken tabs, a large split or cracks at the fastener holes, replacing it is the better choice.

What do fender flares do?

Fender flares extend the fender's coverage so less mud and debris is thrown onto the rider and machine. They are model specific, so check the machine and year in the listing before you order. Also check the finish, since the examples here are textured black.

Will a new fender match my old color?

Not always. Color names differ between makers, and old plastic fades from sun and age, so a new fender can look brighter. If you want a close match, replace the fenders together, or choose the color named in the listing for your model.
