S&S Cycle Engines and Performance Parts

S&S Cycle is where Harley-Davidson owners go when they want to rebuild, stroke or replace a V-twin: engines, cams, carburetors, valvetrain parts, air cleaners and a long list of the small pieces that go with them. We list about 1,400 S&S products, mainly for Big Twin, Twin Cam, Milwaukee-Eight and Sportster engines. The bulk is in Engines & Engine Parts.

According to Wikipedia, S&S was founded in 1958 by George J. Smith and Stanley Stankos, started with high-performance pushrods, and moved to Viola, Wisconsin in 1969, where it is still based.

Engines and Power Packages. Complete long block engines and upgrade packages, for instance the T124 Long Block Engine in black for Touring and Dyna, the MK136 Engine for the M8 Softail and the 124" Power Package for 2017-2025 Harley-Davidson. Crankcases, flywheel assemblies and cam chest kits are sold separately, such as the Flywheel Assembly for the 107" M8.

Match it to your engine

S&S parts are sorted by engine family and size. Check three things on each listing: the engine family (Shovelhead, Evolution Big Twin, Twin Cam, M8, Sportster), the displacement or bore (for example 107", 124" or 4.125" bore) and the year range. A cam or carburetor that fits one family will not fit another, and some kits state the bore or stroke they expect. If you are building a motor, confirm all three on the product page before ordering.

Can I buy parts to rebuild my engine? Yes. We list rebuild kits, gaskets, valve guides, rocker arms, oil fittings and pushrods individually.

What is the difference between the Super E and the Super G carburetor? They are two S&S carburetor families with different part numbers. Our listings name the model each one is for, so pick by engine and year.

Are the exhaust systems emissions legal? Some listings say 50-state, like the Qualifier 2-into-1. Others do not mention it, so check the listing and your local rules.

Do you carry complete engines? Yes, long blocks and Power Packages are listed by displacement and model.
