Other Body & Frame
About Other Body & Frame
Side panels, number plates, mud flaps and other body parts with no category of their own are filed in this mixed group. Most listings are for off-road bikes: side panels, number plates, mud flaps, rear fender graphics, graphic kits, a five piece replica body kit and fork guards. There is also a chrome rear bumper for the Tri-Glide trike. Riders come here to replace a cracked panel, update colors or find a specific piece.
Most parts are model and year specific. Side panels, number plates and mud flaps are listed by the machine they fit, and color names such as OEM orange with a year show which factory color they match. Pick your bike in the Ride Finder at the top of the page. A number plate carries the race number on the front of a dirt bike. A graphic kit goes over existing plastics, so check that its shape matches your panels.
Brands here include Mustang, Athena, Cobra, Colony and Covingtons. For complete sets of plastics see Fairings, Plastics & Body Kits, for fenders see Fenders, and for graphics see Decals & Vinyls. The wider group is Body & Frame.
FAQs on side panels, number plates and other body parts
How do I find the right side panels for my dirt bike?
Side panels are shaped for a particular model and year range, and they are listed with the color. Use the years in the listing and pick your bike in the Ride Finder at the top of the page. Compare the mounting points and shape with your old panels if you can.
What is a number plate used for on a dirt bike?
A number plate carries the rider's race number on the front of the bike so it can be identified at events. Many riders keep one on the bike for the look. Plates are listed by model and in colors, and the number digits are separate.
What does an OEM color with a year mean?
It means the part matches the factory color of that model year, such as an OEM orange listed for a given year. Factory colors change between years, so check the year range to get a match with your other plastics.
Does a graphic kit go over plastics I already have?
Yes. Graphic kits are adhesive-backed and are shaped for a model, so they go on top of existing panels. Clean the surface first and compare the shape with your panels. A graphic kit will not repair cracked plastic, so replace damaged panels first.
