Memphis Shades Windshields and Fairings

A windshield only works if it matches both the bike and the rider, and Memphis Shades is the brand where we carry the most choices to get there: about 750 windshields, fairings and mounting kits, mostly for Harley-Davidson, with Honda, Yamaha, Indian, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Victory models covered too. The biggest part of the range is in Windshields, with the hardware in Mounts, Brackets & Hardware and the fairings in Fairings, Plastics & Body Kits.

According to the Memphis Shades FAQ, its windshields are made from Lucite acrylic and its fairings from black Lucite acrylic with a textured ABS inner structure, and the tint choices are clear, solar, black smoke and dark black smoke.

Windshield and fairing styles

Memphis Fats and Slim. About 115 Fats listings and 88 Slim listings, listed mostly for Harley cruisers, such as the Memphis Fats Windshield for the 2018-2024 Fat Boy 114, the Fats windshield with Big Headlight Cutout and the Memphis Slim Windshield.

Sportshield. Around 70 listings. The El Paso Sportshield, 9" is one example, and the matching Trigger-Lock mounts are listed separately.

Batwing and Spoiler. Fairings and spoiler windshields for touring bikes, including the Batwing Fairing for Harley-Davidson, Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, the Batwing Spoiler Windshield for the 1996-2013 Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Spoiler Windshield for the 2023-2025 Road Glide.

Bullet, Road Warrior and Cafe fairings. For example the Road Warrior Fairing for Road King Classic and Special and the Bullet Fairing for Honda and Harley-Davidson.

Replacement plastic, trim and deflectors. The Road King Replacement Plastic, stainless windshield trim and fork deflectors.

Mounting kits are sold separately

Memphis Shades says a Trigger-Lock kit includes the anchoring hardware that attaches to the motorcycle plus plates for the windshield or fairing, that a Plates Only kit is for bikes that already have the anchoring hardware, and that Trigger-Lock and Quick Change systems are not cross-compatible. Each Trigger-Lock kit is model-specific. Pick the right height and fit

Memphis Shades suggests that, sitting on the bike, the top of the shield should fall between the tip and the bridge of your nose, which keeps your line of sight clear and cuts buffeting. If you are replacing an original windshield, compare the hole spacing and read the model and year range in the title before ordering, because many listings cover a range such as '96-'13.

Does the windshield come with mounts? Usually not. Mounting kits are sold separately and are model-specific.

What tints are offered? The brand lists clear, solar, black smoke and dark black smoke. Check each listing for the tint it names.

Do you carry windshields for non-Harley bikes? Yes, including Honda Gold Wing, Yamaha, Indian and Kawasaki models.

Can I replace just the plastic? Yes, replacement plastic windshields are listed separately for several Harley models.
